- Ventilator Management experience
- ABG interpretation skills


Description:
The position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Candidates must possess current certifications in BCLS and RRT.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend coverage is required every third weekend.
On-call responsibilities may be required.
Clinicians must be able to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
Candidates should be open to accommodating block schedules.
Travelers should note that local candidates will not be considered if residing within a 75-mile radius.
Pending licenses are acceptable.
No time off restrictions apply beyond seven days.
A minimum of 3 shifts guaranteed per 13 weeks is required.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in airway management devices and suctioning techniques.
Familiarity with various medication delivery systems is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in high flow nasal cannula and ventilator management, including troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation.
The facility is a short-term acute care hospital with a total of 1259 staffed beds.
Charting will be performed using the Epic system.
Travelers will be expected to manage adult and geriatric patient populations.
Additional skills and experience in adult critical care, aerosol setup, and troubleshooting are essential for this role.
Candidates should be prepared for interdisciplinary support and diverse patient diagnoses.
