PART TIME Counter Customer Service

Job Summary: We’re looking for a friendly, reliable team member to join us as a Store Clerk for evening shifts on Fridays , and an all-day shift on Saturdays and Sundays , with flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed. This role is all about creating a welcoming in-store experience and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include assisting customers with purchases, operating the cash register, restocking shelves, and supporting inventory management. Light cleaning is also part of the daily routine to keep our space neat and inviting.

Responsibilities:

• Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they shop.
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Operate the register to process customer sales.
• Collect payments by cash and credit card.
• Take responsibility for stocking, inventory management, and store maintenance.
• Develop and maintain solid product knowledge to assist customers with their selections.
• Perform light cleaning duties, such as sweeping the floor and taking out the garbage.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
• Willingness to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to quickly and accurately operate a register
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Punctuality and reliability
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer inquiries or issues
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock replenishment
• Positive attitude and a passion for helping others
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
