Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Hours/week: 36

Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem

License/Certs: Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital RN experience

Pay & Benefits

• Pay rate: $59.18/hour

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality patient care on a Medical/Surgical Step-Down unit in the PCU float pool
• Safely float to other OSU-affiliated hospitals within the same system
• Manage patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV starts, Telemetry, and Epic electronic health record system
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital policies
• Adapt to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

What You Need

Required:

• Ohio RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital RN experience
• Proficiency in IV starts, Telemetry, and Epic EHR

Preferred:

• Experience in PCU or step-down units
• Ability to adapt quickly to float assignments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
