We are seeking dependable, skilled candidates ready to start immediately. Open Positions & Pay Rates: Commercial JOURNEYMEN Sheet Metal Mechanics $33–$37/hr DOE Minimum 7 years of commercial HVAC experience required Apprentice Sheet Metal Mechanics (3–4years' experience) Job Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings to determine duct layout and installation requirements Lay out, fabricate, and install sheet metal duct systems (square, rectangular, spiral, and round) Install and hang ductwork using proper supports, hangers, and vibration isolation methods Measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal using hand tools and power tools Install VAV boxes, dampers, diffusers, and other HVAC components Perform field modifications to ensure proper fit and airflow Seal ductwork according to SMACNA standards Coordinate with other trades to ensure proper installation sequencing Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure quality control Lead or assist apprentices/helpers and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently Install and hang ductwork with minimal supervision (square, rectangular, spiral, flex) Read and interpret basic blueprints and layout drawings Measure, cut, and assemble duct systems Install hangers, support, and duct systems independently Assist with installation of dampers, diffusers, and HVAC components Seal ductwork and ensure proper airflow standards Troubleshoot minor installation issues Mentor less experienced helpers when needed Maintain safety standards and job site organization Requirements: Must have all tools for your trade Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work in Frisco Must be able to pass a background check Ability to work in a fast‑paced construction environment Must be able to start ASAP Equal Opportunity Employer: Trade Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
