The Impact You'll MakeAs Transportation Manager, North America, you will help ensure products move reliably and efficiently across the United States and Canada. Your work will directly support manufacturing operations, customer commitments, and business performance by strengthening transportation execution across domestic and international networks.You will lead transportation strategy and operations across multiple freight modes while improving carrier performance, freight audit governance, payment accuracy, and claims management. By combining data, market insights, and strong partnerships, you will help create a more resilient and cost-effective transportation network.Working closely with teams across Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Customer Service, Sales, Planning, Distribution, and Warehousing, you will identify opportunities to improve service, reduce disruption, and enable continuous improvement across the transportation function.What You’ll Be DoingLead transportation operations across truckload, LTL, parcel, intermodal, ocean, and air freight to ensure reliable product movement and customer support.Partner with carriers, service providers, and internal stakeholders to improve transportation performance, capacity planning, cost efficiency, and network resilience.Manage freight audit, payment, and claims processes to improve accuracy, strengthen governance, and increase financial visibility.Use transportation data, market insights, and performance reviews to identify improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence.Resolve transportation disruptions, urgent freight issues, and service escalations to protect production schedules and customer commitments.What We're Looking ForExperience leading domestic and international transportation operations across multiple freight modes within a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment.Strong knowledge of freight audit and payment programs, carrier management, transportation sourcing, contract oversight, and claims administration.Ability to analyze transportation data, identify trends, and communicate recommendations that balance service, cost, and operational performance.Proven success building collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams, carriers, suppliers, and external service providers.Experience using transportation and business systems, including transportation management platforms, ERP systems, and reporting tools.Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. The range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000.
