About the Role

As an HVAC Installer, you will install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes, ensuring high-quality workmanship, code compliance, and customer satisfaction. Your strong technical skills, attention to detail, and customer-centric approach will be instrumental in delivering top-tier installations and contributing to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer instructions to properly install equipment.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical connections.
• Test new installations to ensure proper operation, airflow, and overall system performance.
• Collaborate with the sales team to confirm scope of work and ensure a seamless customer handover.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site, protecting customer property throughout the installation process.
• Communicate professionally with customers, explaining the installation process and system operation upon completion.
• Identify and report any additional repair or replacement needs discovered during installation.
• Complete installation paperwork, permits, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest HVAC equipment, installation techniques, and building codes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while operating tools and equipment.
• Participate in regular safety meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Installer, preferably within the residential sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and electrical/refrigerant connections.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools related to HVAC installation.
• EPA certification (Universal preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to customers.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in tight spaces, and perform work at heights.
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
