Intensivist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Day and Night Shifts Available

With four intensive care units and a 24/7 staffing model that includes both physicians and advanced practice providers, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Qualifications and Training:

• A minimum of a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.

Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

• Must hold a valid Physician Assistant certification in the State of South Carolina.

• Prescriptive privileges or eligibility to apply for them is necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Uphold a professional demeanor and demonstrate excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues, in alignment with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.

2. Evaluate patient needs as assigned, utilizing data gathered from history, observation, physical exams, and diagnostic analysis.

3. Document physical findings and develop plans and prognoses based on the patient's condition.

4. Design, implement, and coordinate care that addresses the holistic and age-specific needs of patients.

5. Create an environment that reflects care, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.

6. Exhibit professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

7. Conduct physical examinations and preventive health measures within the guidelines set by supervising physicians.

8. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop a comprehensive patient care plan.
