What You'll Do

• Provide specialized palliative and symptom management care to adult patients with serious illnesses
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and manage side effects in a sensitive manner
• Document care accurately using electronic health records (EPIC experience required)
• Float to various inpatient units as needed during initial training period before unit opening
• Support patients and families through compassionate communication and education

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, ideally with palliative or hospice care background
• EPIC electronic health record experience is mandatory
• Ability to float between units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Previous travel experience is a plus

About the Assignment This is a new unit dedicated to palliative care, focusing on symptom relief and enhancing quality of life for patients with serious illnesses. During the initial phase, travelers will be floated to inpatient units until the new unit opens on 07/01/2026, providing a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience in a varied patient population.
