This role is in New York, NYYou’ll build mission-critical applications that power high availability, high transaction throughput workflows, and meet stringent security controls—delivering modern experiences to our clients. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong emphasis on system design, AI-first development practices, and deploying resilient services in Azure AKS.In this role, you'll have the opportunity to impact on our organization in the following ways:Lead implementation of scalable and robust full-stack applications using Core Java, Advanced Java, Spring Framework, and AngularDesign and develop software applications using Test Driven Development with Spring Boot Microservices architectureCreate dynamic and responsive front-end applications using Angular.Maintain software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.Partner with business and subject matter experts to define requirements and deliver strategic data solutions.Execute the full software development lifecycle, applying security, privacy, and quality assurance best practices. Hands on coding experience is requiredActively participate in code reviews. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $120,000 and $253,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
