Ocean Export Coordinator

This hybrid opportunity is ideal for someone with strong FCL/LCL export experience who enjoys managing shipments from booking through to final delivery while providing exceptional customer service. Salary: Up to $70,000 Annual performance bonus Hybrid work-from-home schedule 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off & holidays Responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end ocean export shipments (FCL & LCL) Book cargo with ocean carriers and overseas agents Prepare and review export documentation (BOLs, AES, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.) Arrange trucking, vessel bookings, and shipment scheduling Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers Communicate with carriers, vendors, overseas offices, and customers Ensure compliance with export regulations and company procedures Resolve shipment issues and maintain accurate records in the freight forwarding system Requirements 2+ years of ocean export freight forwarding experience Strong knowledge of FCL, LCL, export documentation, and AES filings Experience working for a freight forwarder Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments Experience using CargoWise or a similar freight forwarding system is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr People Freight | Freight Forwarding & Logistics Recruitment Specialists
