Location: Bensenville, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Work Environment: 100% Onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented Ocean Export Coordinator to support international shipping operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in global transportation, freight forwarding, and supply chain operations.
Recent graduates with strong organizational and communication skills are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments from origin to destination
- Enter, update, and maintain shipment information within company systems
- Track and trace export shipments and provide timely status updates to customers and internal teams
- Prepare and process export documentation to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with ocean carriers, drayage providers, customs brokers, and internal departments
- Monitor shipment milestones and proactively communicate delays or service issues
- Assist with customs and export-related documentation
- Support billing processes and ensure shipment records are accurate and complete
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company guidelines
- Escalate operational issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or ocean export operations is a plus
- Recent graduates with strong administrative or customer service experience are welcome to apply
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Stable and reliable work history
