CNC Quality Inspector | Artisan Machining | Ronkonkoma, NY

Artisan Machining is hiring a CNC Quality Inspector to join our precision machining team in Ronkonkoma, NY. We're looking for someone with hands-on inspection experience who takes pride in catching the details that matter.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time
Pay: $22.00–$26.00/hour (based on experience)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Inspecting machined parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision hand tools
Performing dimensional inspection using vision measurement systems (Keyence IM-X or similar)
Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, including basic GD&T
Verifying parts meet dimensional and quality requirements at various stages of production
Documenting inspection results and flagging non-conformances
Working closely with machinists and production staff to resolve quality issues before they become bigger problems
Maintaining accurate, organized inspection records
Following all safety protocols and procedures

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

Prior experience as a quality inspector, machinist, or in a manufacturing/machining environment
Comfortable reading blueprints and technical drawings
Working knowledge of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Experience with Keyence IM-X vision measurement systems a strong plus
Strong attention to detail and a "measure twice" mindset
Aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing experience a plus (not required)
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
