About Roebling

We're building Roebling, an AI-native capital projects platform aimed at enabling the rapid development of the industrial infrastructure required to power our future. Today, innovators face an outdated reality: getting to construction on projects big and small requires thousands of hours of repetitive, PDF- and spreadsheet-driven workflows with heavy QA/QC overhead. It's inefficient, slow, and largely unchanged for more than a century. Roebling is now reducing planning timelines by 10x to help companies bring new products to market faster. The technological foundation of Roebling's backend is a deterministic first-principles process model paired with major LLMs to deliver trusted output. Combined with a no-code project simulation engine that integrates aspects of chemical engineering, finance, and operations, our agentic environment informs and supports infrastructure investment decisions for industrial projects with 7-10 figure construction budgets. Roebling's VP of Product will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategy for our suite of digital and supporting products. The focus is on delivering best-in-class B2B tools and platforms that meet the evolving needs of our customers and internal engineers. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience to deliver products that accelerate process simulation and engineering deliverables for capital projects, enhance customer value, drive internal efficiency, and contribute to business growth. The VP of Product reports to the Chief Technology Officer and works closely with other members of the senior management team on broader strategic matters.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a product strategy aligned with Roebling's goals, identifying market opportunities and taking products from 0 to 1.
• Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch, driving development in collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring seamless business integration.
• Work closely with sales to develop monetization and pricing strategies that align with market demand and company goals.
• Analyze key performance indicators and leverage data to improve product performance, enhance user experience, and address both internal and external needs.
• Conduct market research and gather feedback to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure products meet customer and internal efficiency needs.
• Design cohesive customer journeys across all products for a consistent, user-friendly experience.
• Manage external resources and occasionally dive into the code, while leading a small, scrappy team to ensure successful execution.
• Manage data harmonization across platforms to optimize internal processes and enhance product value.

Competencies

Must-have

• 7+ years in product management with a proven track record of launching and managing digital products across the product lifecycle.
• Experience building and scaling B2B products, ideally for technical or engineering users in domains such as process engineering, chemical/industrial engineering, or capital project development.
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and product management best practices.
• Experience working with outsourced developers, designers, and external resources to deliver high-quality products.
• Willingness to dive into the details, including code or design, to ensure successful product execution.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Data-driven decision-making with the ability to track and improve key product metrics.

Nice-to-have

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

This can be fully remote with meaningful travel expectations or based in a team hub. Roebling's team values cohesiveness and in-person collaboration; we have a strong preference for candidates near our team hubs (NYC, SF Bay Area, Boston, Houston) who are open to hybrid work, but we will hire the best person regardless of location.
