Multiple contract roles are open for skilled Special Education Teachers across K-12 settings, including elementary, middle, high school, and an alternative program for severe behaviors. This is a rewarding opportunity to utilize your expertise in life skills, autism, or behavioral support, while ensuring every student receives high-quality individualized instruction.

Openings span:

• 10 positions at the elementary level
• 5 positions at the middle school level
• 4 positions at the high school level
• 2 positions in Bridges, serving all grades in a specialized alternative setting

Your ability to foster growth and maximize student achievement will be key as you join a collaborative group of professionals fostering inclusion and empowerment.

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas Special Education licensure specific to grade level at time of application
• Experience supporting students in life skills, autism spectrum, or behavioral classrooms
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized instruction
• Dedication to fostering a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering effective, differentiated instruction tailored to IEP goals
• Employing data-driven interventions and progress monitoring
• Communicating and collaborating with families, staff, and service providers
• Maintaining documentation and compliance with all relevant state and federal laws
• Participating actively in IEP meetings and school initiatives

Positions begin August 2026 and continue through May 2027. This role is a contract position, ideal for both experienced special educators and motivated early-career professionals with the required licensure.
