This is a rare opportunity to work closely alongside our Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) and Army Hypersonic Programs (AHPO) partners to field several future strategic systems that the nation urgently needs.As a Systems Integration & Test Engineer, you will plan and execute the integration and test program for a portfolio HSWS program by providing the program with key technical solutions. You will develop test plans, implement tests, develop test documentation, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. The execution of this program will require this individual to lead/support various Flight Test and Ground Test events as the Certified Test Conductor (CTC) where travel will be required. As a CTC you will lead test efforts, including test equipment specification and system element simulator development, to ensure mission success for Zumwalt (DDG-1000)-class Integration.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree (Electrical, Mechanical,Aerospace or Computer Engineering preferred)or equivalent experience/combined education• Must have and be able to maintain a Secret/ TopSecret clearanceDesired Skills:Minimum 2 years with a Bachelor or 1 yearwith a Masters of professional experience• Current LM Certified Test Conductor (CTC)certification or equivalent• Working knowledge and experience withAutomation Framework• Demonstrated Engineering knowledge andrelated processes in the areas of test disciplinewith a focus on error prevention and safety,controls logic and data acquisition&instrumentation• Experience with lab/ground/flight hardwaresystems integration and/or the flight testing ofmilitary missiles, launch vehicles, spacecraft oraircraft.• Experience with COTS equipment and systemintegration, mechanical/electronictroubleshooting and use of Ground SupportEquipment (GSE) Test & Integration• Knowledge of the latest Test and MeasurementEquipment (T&ME) and techniques• Experience with integration of shipboardsystems and equipment.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborativeteam environment with occasional alternate shiftand travel.Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
