Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ABAP Lead Developer to drive the design, development, and integration of SAP-based solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in ABAP and S/4HANA, along with leadership capabilities to guide a team and collaborate across functional and technical domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of ABAP objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
• Design and implement API integrations between SAP and external systems using REST, SOAP, and OData services.
• Work with integration tools such as SAP Gateway, Workato, and SAP BTP Integration Suite for end-to-end interface development.
• Ensure secure system integrations by implementing proper authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Optimize ABAP programs, SQL queries, and API performance to improve scalability and efficiency.
• Identify system bottlenecks and recommend architectural improvements.
• Develop solutions using S/4HANA technologies including Core Data Services (CDS) and RAP programming model.
• Collaborate with functional teams across modules such as OTC, PTP, VMS, Service, and Warranty.
• Enforce development standards, reusable design practices, and SAP best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Work closely with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and best practices within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in ABAP development with expertise in RICEFW objects.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA, CDS Views, and RAP model.
• Experience in SAP integration technologies (REST, SOAP, OData).
• Familiarity with SAP Gateway, Workato, and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Solid understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of SAP functional modules such as OTC, PTP, VMS, Service, or Warranty.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership or lead role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale SAP transformation or implementation projects.
• Exposure to cloud-based SAP integrations.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading development teams.
