Position Summary Grand Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to support our doctors and clinical team in providing outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate is motivated, team-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to creating exceptional patient experiences. What You'll Do Patient Care & Clinical Support Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient. Welcome and guide patients through their treatment experience. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Prepare patients for examinations and dental procedures. Take and document dental radiographs (X-rays). Assist doctors during restorative, surgical, and hygiene procedures. Support procedures through suctioning, retraction, and other chairside assistance. Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in electronic charts. Ensure treatment rooms are fully prepared and operational. Set up trays and instruments for dental procedures. Prepare dental materials, including cements, impression materials, and other clinical products. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and clinical areas. Laboratory & Administrative Support Pour, trim, and polish impression models. Fabricate temporary crowns and custom impression trays. Assist with inventory management and monthly supply counts. Support office operations and team initiatives as needed. Community Engagement Represent Grand Family Dentistry in community events, outreach programs, and educational opportunities. Help promote a positive image of the practice through professionalism and patient-centered service.
