We are hiring a full-time permanent Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a fast-paced, physician-owned surgical hospital in Manhattan, Kansas . This is a great opportunity for an experienced OR nurse with a strong orthopedic and total joint surgery background .

Position Highlights

• Location: Manhattan, KS
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
• Shift Options: 8, 10, or 12 hours
• Start Time: 6:00–6:30 AM
• Hours: 32, 36, or 40 hours/week
• Pay: $31.35–$46.59/hr, based on experience
• Weekends: No weekend rotation
• Holidays: No scheduled holidays; 7 paid holidays
• On-Call: No call required
• Scrubs: Hospital-provided
• Benefits: BLS & ACLS required; benefits available based on eligibility

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process.
• Prepare, organize, and assist with OR cases across multiple specialties.
• Support orthopedic, total joint, sports medicine, ENT, GYN, spine, urology, cataract, and general surgery cases.
• Pull surgical cases, assist with room setup, terminal cleaning, and case preparation.
• Work closely with surgeons, surgical technologists, and the OR team.
• May assist in Sterile Processing (SPD) when needed.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Kansas RN license
• ADN or BSN
• BLS and ACLS – AHA or ARC
• Strong Operating Room experience
• Orthopedic experience is required , especially total joint replacements and sports medicine
• Experience with systems such as Zimmer and Arthrex preferred
• Must be comfortable handling multiple surgical specialties
• Meditech Expanse experience preferred but not required
