Job Summary

Primary Duties: Conduct clinical epidemiologic research focused on glaucoma incidence, risk factors, disease progression, and outcomes. Design and implement research protocols using large clinical, imaging, and population-based datasets. Perform data management and statistical analyses. Prepare and submit manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication and present findings at scientific meetings. Contribute to the development of research grants and funding proposals.

Subsidiary Duties: Collaborate with clinical and basic science investigators within the department and across institutions. Participate in the mentorship and supervision of trainees, including research fellows, residents, and students. Assist in maintaining compliance with institutional review board (IRB) and research integrity standards. Engage in departmental research meetings, seminars, and educational activities. Support ongoing departmental initiatives in glaucoma research and clinical innovation.
