Fee for service SLP evaluators

The Association to Benefit Children (ABC) is dedicated to ensuring that every child has a joyful, healthy, and safe life through compassionate and innovative programs since 1986. ABC is seeking a CONTRACT SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (fee-for-service) to support its CPSE multi-disciplinary evaluation (MDE) program. The SLP will conduct evaluations of speech and language development in children ages 2.5 - 5 years old as part of the CPSE MDE process. Evaluations will take place at ABC’s Early Childhood sites: The Graham School (1841 Park Avenue) and Cassidy’s Place (419 E 86th Street). Anticipated evaluation caseload of 3 cases per week, or 10 per month. Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist Evaluator include: Work individually and collaboratively with the child and family to administer evaluations in person that accurately estimate the child’s functioning and are written in accordance with the most current DOE standards. Collaborate with other professionals to reconcile differences between reports. Debrief parents on assessment results and recommendations. Submit the written report and IEP components within 5 working days Qualifications: NYS SLP License and TSHH/TSSLDcertification Experience with 2-5 years old population Current/recent NYC DOE employees are not eligible For evaluators: Experience with GFTA-3/KLPA-3, PLS-5, CELF-Pre3 and/or other approved Speech & Language assessment tools (most recent versions) Submission of sample reports (minimum 2) #J-18808-Ljbffr Association to Benefit Children (ABC)
