Summary / Objective

Assured Imaging Capital (a division of Envision Radiology) is seeking a proven hunter and closer to develop new customer relationships and grow territory sales. This is a business development role: the Regional Sales Manager is expected to generate their own leads, build a qualified pipeline, and close new business. The position does not come with an established book of customers to manage.

The role owns the full sales cycle for mobile medical coaches, trailers, diagnostic imaging equipment, rentals, refurbishment, and service solutions. Success requires proactive outreach, regular in-person customer engagement, daily Salesforce updates, and dependable follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Territory Growth

• Develop and execute a territory plan targeting hospitals, health systems, imaging centers, physician groups, and other healthcare organizations.
• Generate a qualified pipeline through personal networks, daily outbound prospecting, referrals, targeted outreach, site visits, and industry events.
• Own the full sales cycle from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and signed agreement, identifying customer needs, decision-makers, funding, and purchasing timelines.
• Meet established revenue, prospecting, customer meeting, and pipeline goals.
• Maintain customer relationships to generate repeat business, referrals, equipment replacements, coach and/or trailer replacements or refurbishment, rentals, and service opportunities.

Salesforce and Follow-Through

• Update Salesforce daily with customer communications, meeting notes, opportunity progress, accurate contact information, deal values, expected close dates, and scheduled next steps.
• Maintain a consistent outreach and follow-up cadence, respond promptly to inquiries, and fulfill customer commitments.
• Keep quotes and supporting documents organized; provide accurate weekly pipeline updates and revenue forecasts.
• Identify stalled opportunities and communicate obstacles or support needs early.

Collaboration and Commercial Accountability

• Collaborate with regional sales colleagues and the Envision ecosystem to share leads, expand customer access, and coordinate account ownership and outreach.
• Partner with marketing on targeted campaigns and promptly follow up on qualified leads.
• Engage operations, service, project management, and fabrication teams to develop practical solutions and confirm scope, capabilities, and delivery schedules.
• Sell new and used imaging equipment, mobile coaches and trailers, rentals, refresh and refurbishment solutions, and applicable service agreements; develop opportunities for new offerings.
• Identify mobile mammography service opportunities and coordinate with the appropriate Assured Imaging team.
• Support established pricing and margin objectives, negotiate within approved authority, and obtain leadership approval for exceptions.
• Provide a complete handoff of signed business, including customer expectations, scope, timelines, and commitments.

Qualifications

Required

• At least three years of successful sales experience in medical capital equipment, diagnostic imaging, mobile healthcare solutions, or a closely related healthcare market.
• Demonstrated success independently generating leads, acquiring new customers, developing a territory, and closing complex sales.
• Strategic Networking & KOL Development : Build and expand trusted relationships with healthcare executives, clinical leaders, key opinion leaders, and industry partners across organizations and functions. Converts those relationships into referrals, access to decision-makers, a sustained qualified pipeline, and measurable sales results.
• Experience selling to healthcare decision-makers and navigating purchasing and approval processes.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills.
• Consistent CRM discipline, reliable forecasting, and strong organization and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and travel regularly for customer meetings, site visits, demonstrations, and industry events.

Preferred

• Salesforce experience.
• Experience selling mammography, X-ray, ultrasound, DEXA, or related imaging systems.
• Experience with imaging OEMs such as GE HealthCare, Hologic, or Siemens Healthineers.
• Experience selling mobile coaches, trailers, rentals, refurbishment, or service agreements.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
