Security Officer

Responsibilities Patrol the university campus by foot, golf cart, or in a patrol unit Ensure the safety of the university community, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors Respond to reports of incidents, such as suspicious activity or security violations Enforce campus rules and regulations pertaining to parking, smoking, and alcohol and drug use Direct traffic and parking as required Provide crowd control or other security services for special events Act as liaison between the university and local law‑enforcement agencies Perform custodial and maintenance duties, provide information and directions, and maintain records when necessary Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of law‑enforcement or security experience preferred Post‑certified highly preferred Soft Skills communication crowd control incident response patrolling traffic direction Certifications & Qualifications Post‑certified #J-18808-Ljbffr
