P-Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatrics Salary Range: $26-34 per hour, 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation. Our 58-bed skilled nursing facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our geriatric patients. We offer a range of services including post-hospital rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care to meet the diverse needs of our residents. Responsibilities Work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to geriatric patients. Assist with the development and implementation of treatment plans. Conduct therapeutic exercises and monitor patients’ progress. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure best possible outcomes. Qualifications Associate’s degree from a Physical Therapy Assistant program. State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Minimum of 1 year of experience in geriatric care preferred. CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
