Senior Inventory Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant.Summary:Join a growing organization seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant to drive inventory accuracy, controls, and optimization across warehouse and field locations. This role partners with operations, purchasing, and sales teams to improve efficiency, support customer demand, and deliver data-driven business insights while leveraging technology and AI-enhanced processes. This client offers full benefits package, great work/life balance. The position will be in the Saint Louis, MO area and full-time with flexibility when needed.Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records and controls
• Perform cycle counts, reconciliations, and adjustments
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Monitor inventory levels and manage excess or obsolete stock
• Analyze inventory trends and generate reporting
• Support replenishment planning and process improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of inventory accounting or inventory control experience
• Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
