About the TeamThe Dasher & Logistics team supports the millions of Dashers who power DoorDash's marketplace. We're building the world's leading last-mile logistics platform — and at the center of that is creating the best experience for gig workers to achieve their financial goals. We own the full Dasher lifecycle — from acquisition and onboarding, to earnings and order assignment, to rewards and recognition for the best Dashers. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support in order to create a seamless experience for Dashers, whether it be their first dash or their 500th.About the RoleYou will play an integral role in shaping our Dasher strategy at DoorDash. Your primary goal will be to improve Dasher retention and engagement by identifying key pain points, getting deep into how the system operates on the ground, and translating those insights into high-impact bets that improve the Dasher experience. You’ll define what a great Dasher experience looks like in practice, build the programs and partnerships that support it, and develop the tools and feedback loops needed to measure Dasher sentiment and ensure the Dasher voice is represented in key decisions across the organization. You’ll scale impact through close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Success in this role means building a stronger, more engaged Dasher ecosystem that improves marketplace reliability and creates long-term value across DoorDash’s audiences. The teams are responsible for understanding Product Engineering’s evolving needs and developing platform and infrastructure capabilities to serve them. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location.
