Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Some Weekend Shifts Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients, including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
• Manage active labor patients including induction, augmentation, VBAC/TOLAC, and maternal emergencies
• Care for antepartum patients at established nurse-to-patient ratios (Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3)
• Float between units as needed within the facility or sister facilities nearby
• Complete required onboarding and annual compliance modules prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Experience in acute care high-risk Labor and Delivery
• Proficiency in antepartum care, induction/augmentation, and management of maternal emergencies
• Ability to work night shifts including some weekend shifts
• Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with VBAC/TOLAC management
• Background in caring for high-risk obstetric populations including pre-eclampsia and multiples
• Familiarity with antepartum nursing care and associated documentation requirements
