What You Will Do:
As a Critical Care RN on night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), you will be the frontline provider for patients requiring intense, specialized care. You will assess patient conditions, develop and execute personalized care plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and educate patients and their families. Your expertise will ensure safe, quality care that aligns with organizational standards and promotes positive health outcomes.


Required Skills:

• Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications via AHA
• Proven critical care nursing experience with the ability to handle complex patient conditions
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse patient populations
• Ability to multitask efficiently and work effectively within a team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EPIC EMR systems
• Previous travel nursing experience in critical care settings
• Strong proficiency in Point of Care testing procedures
• Effective leadership and delegation abilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Minimum of 1-2 years of critical care or ICU nursing experience, preferably in high-acuity environments
• Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to new healthcare settings quickly

Other Requirements:

• Valid current RN license (New Mexico or compact state)
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and TNCC
• Willingness to work night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Ability to pass background checks and meet health and immunization requirements
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not mandatory
