Key Responsibilities:

Clerical Duties:

• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
• Maintain and update patient records, charts, and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
• Answer and direct phone calls, relay messages, and assist visitors
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate patient care and unit operations
• Prepare and process forms, reports, and correspondence as required
• Order and manage inventory of office supplies and medical equipment

Patient Care Duties:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
• Assist with patient mobility, including turning, positioning, and transporting patients
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA; clerical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred

Skills:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
