Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a committed and skilled healthcare professional to deliver comprehensive care to adult patients. You will play a crucial role in managing both acute and chronic medical conditions and offering Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). This position emphasizes a strong dedication to patient care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the well-being of our community. Job Function Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations for adult patients. Manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the primary care setting. Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including Buprenorphine therapy. Assess patient conditions, set treatment goals, and prescribe appropriate interventions. Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient progress in electronic health records (EHR). Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to guide clinical decision-making. Coordinate medical consultations and patient transfers as necessary. Requirements New York State licensure and registration as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience in Primary Care, HIV/AIDS management, harm reduction, and Buprenorphine treatment. Certification in Nursing practice or expertise in HIV/AIDS medicine. Preferred experience with electronic health records. Visual and auditory acuity for medical procedures and patient interaction. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance. Current DEA registration, CPR certification, and Infection Control certification. Maintenance of required CMEs/CEUs.
