- # Service Department Assistant (Brooklyn, NY)Applylocations: New York, New York, United Statestime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: 587360### Job TitleService Department Assistant (Brooklyn, NY)### Job DescriptionSupport the end-to-end administration of customer cases and work orders by ensuring accurate documentation, coordinating follow-up activities, resolving operational exceptions, supporting billing processes, and driving continuous improvements that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.**Your role:*** Coordinating vendor services, preventative maintenance scheduling, parts ordering, purchase requests, and follow-up on quotes, deliveries, and repairs. Managing service work orders, ensuring required documentation is complete, tracking open activities, and supporting work order closure.* Supporting inventory and asset management activities, including equipment registrations, database updates, asset additions/deletions, and audit readiness.* Providing administrative support for reporting, customer requests, vendor coordination, work order follow-up, and operational activities supporting the site lead and area service manager. Supporting billing and financial activities, including invoice verification, purchase order tracking, billable event documentation, reconciliation support, and follow-up with internal finance teams.**You're the right fit if:*** You’ve acquired 1+ years of experience in customer service and order processing.* Your skills include data entry, documentation and reporting, administrative support, service operations, regulatory compliance, financial acumen, billing processes, accounting.* You have at least a high school diploma.* You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.* Must be able to adhere to onsite schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM ET. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
