Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact while supporting students’ growth in a school-based physical therapy role. This contract position is located near Ponte Vedra, FL, and involves working on-site only (no virtual options available). The assignment spans from August 10, 2026, through October 30, 2026, providing coverage for a 12-week maternity leave with possible early summer start dates during the extended school year (exact dates to be confirmed). Expect a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and the opportunity to work across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity.

Qualifications:

• Current and active FL Department of Health Physical Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to manage itinerant assignments across various locations
• Must complete fingerprinting and be eligible through the AHCA Clearinghouse; JLA badge application required (may take up to 10 business days)
• Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality PT services to students, supporting their developmental and educational goals
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans for students (caseload details to be confirmed)
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student participation in the school environment
• Document services and progress in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Travel between assigned school sites as necessary
