CNC Manufacturing Programmer, Multi‑Axis Lathe & Mill
Location: Lowell, MA | Company: Axis Technologies Inc.
Is this you?Do you think in toolpaths? Does a clean CMM report make your day? If Mastercam is your go‑to and you enjoy taking a part from program to proof, read on.
The challenge- Own programming for turning and milling using Mastercam —from prototypes to production.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to validate programs and hit tolerance on first articles.
- Use CMM, micrometers, and bore gauges to verify features and apply GD&T correctly.
- Maintain tooling health, support fabrication when needed, and champion shop safety and quality.
- Robust, efficient programs that reduce setup time and improve repeatability.
- Accurate inspection results with full traceability to blueprint requirements.
- Clear communication and teamwork across programming, machining, and quality.
- 3+ years programming with Mastercam (v19+) .
- Hands‑on CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Expert blueprint reading, mechanical savvy, and GD&T understanding.
- Comfortable with tooling setup, maintenance, and precision metrology.
- Detail‑oriented, analytical, and collaborative.

You’ll work with multi‑axis mills, live‑tooling lathes, advanced inspection equipment, and dedicated Mastercam workstations—tools worthy of your craft.
Comp & schedule- $35–$45/hour DOE + second‑shift differential
