Patient Benefit Representative Location:Cary, NC (Hybrid – in office 2 days/week) Schedule:Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM Job Type:Contract (approx. 13 weeks) – potential to convert to FTE Pay:$22.00–$24.00/hour (W2) Position Overview We’re hiring aPatient Benefit Representativeto support patients and providers by verifying prescription insurance benefits, adjudicating pharmacy claims, and assisting with prior authorization (PA) processes. This role also handles inbound calls related to order status, services, and financial support options. Key Responsibilities Verify and enter prescription insurance information by running eligibility checks and adjudicating pharmacy claims Troubleshoot claim rejections and communicate accurate outcomes to patients Coordinate and support theprior authorization (PA)process with providers/clinics Handle inbound calls from patients, physicians, clinics, and other stakeholders regarding order status and support options Document detailed and accurate notes in patient profiles Contact patients to schedule medication delivery and collect/payment coordination when needed Assist with refill coordination and follow-ups to support therapy adherence Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) per process Perform other duties as assigned (may vary slightly by team/program) Qualifications (What we’re looking for) Experience with insurance verification, pharmacy claims adjudication, or reimbursement support (end-to-end reimbursement experience is a strong plus) Comfortable handling inbound calls and working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment Strong documentation skills and attention to detail Ability to work the required schedule (11:00 AM–8:00 PM) Benefits Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service Interested?
