Interim Controller | Healthcare | Remote

Overview We are working with a privately held healthcare client on an Interim Controller role. This role is open to fully remote options, however they MUST have healthcare experience (physician, dental, etc.). This is a special projects controller that will work in tandem with current leadership supporting and contributing to monthly close, documentation of processes and procedures, process optimization, automation opportunities, system optimization, and any other ad hoc projects that will drive efficiencies across month-end procedures and reporting. Responsibilities Support and contribute to monthly close in collaboration with current leadership Document processes and procedures; identify and implement process improvements Explore automation opportunities and system optimization Assist with ad hoc projects to drive efficiencies across month-end procedures and reporting Requirements MUST have experience leading the accounting function in healthcare/physician industry 5+ years of accounting experience, with proven experience as a Controller or Director of Accounting leading and contributing to monthly close, consolidations, special projects, and audit management Healthcare experience is required Experience with a large ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, MS Dynamics) CPA/Public Accounting background highly preferred Ability to commit to 3-6 months Benefits Our consultants have access to our benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.) and 401K options, as well as our extensive network of resources, including holiday and bonus opportunities, and more.
