Competitive Compensation: Base salary DOE + overnight shift differential 401(k) with Generous Match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance — active Day 1 Generous PTO & Paid Holidays Collaborative Work Environment: Backed by a privately held parent organization with 11+ facilities, fostering a high-performance, quality-focused culture Work-Life Balance: 4-day compressed work week (Mon–Thu, 4:00 PM – 4:30 AM) Career Pathway: Clear progression into Senior Machinist and Programming roles Advanced Technology: Exposure to 5-axis machining, leading-edge CAD/CAM, and state-of-the-art inspection equipment Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes during the overnight shift Machine complex aerospace and turbine components to tight tolerances Interpret advanced blueprints and GD&T callouts Adjust tooling, offsets, and machining parameters to maintain precision Perform in-process inspection and final quality validation using precision measurement tools Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize setups for efficiency and quality Collaborate with engineering and programming teams on process improvements Maintain a detail-driven mindset with low tolerance for scrap or rework Qualifications Needed High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical school certificate in machining or manufacturing technology preferred Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience, with a focus on precision or aerospace environments Experience or strong background in multi-axis machining (3, 4, and 5-axis mills and lathes) Strong background in reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T Hands-on experience with controls such as Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Makino, or Mitsubishi Proven ability to use precision measurement tools and perform in-process and final inspection Detail-driven mindset with low tolerance for scrap or rework Ability to commit to overnight shift: Mon–Thu, 4:00 PM – 4:30 AM Interested in hearing more?
