As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people and items, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and help maintain efficient operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or shipments in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of belongings, delivery items, and restricted-area entry points while maintaining professional communication.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, access points, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
