HDR is looking for a results-driven self-starter to work within our EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) Cloud systems support team. We migrated from Hyperion on-premise applications to Oracle EPM Cloud in early 2026, modernizing our platform. We are now utilizing the following EPM modules: Planning and Budgeting (PBC), Profitability and Cost Management (PCM), Financial Close & Consolidation (FCC), Account Reconciliation System (ARC), Tax Reporting (TRC), and Enterprise Data Management (EDM).The Senior Financial Systems Analyst role will primarily focus on the PBC and PCM applications as well as EPM applications when needed. This person will play a meaningful role in providing technical support to these applications, maintaining business alignment, and continually improving related system and business processes.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:Technical SupportSystem Administration and operation of some of the following EPM Cloud applications: PBC, PCM, FCC, ESG, TRC, ARC, as needed, to maintain cross-training and personnel backup objectivesMetadata / master data administrationWrite and maintain EPM system business rules (Groovy) and formsMaintain Data exchange and Pipelines as neededUtilize EPM Automate for various processesMaintain Production and Non-production environments including development work, cloning and restoringKnowledge of the EPM Integration AgentCreate and maintain desktop procedure documentation for core system processes, break fixes and maintenanceIdentify and resolve system defects and issues with applications, including escalation of issues to Oracle Support and/or external vendorDevelop and maintain EPM Financial ReportsSmart View – support install of Excel add-in with end users, assist with trouble-shooting issuesAssist with assigning EPM user security (application and dimension levels)Business AlignmentProvide support and training to personnel using the PBC and PCM modules, including the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, Operations Finance team, Accounting team, and similar teamsReconcile EPM Cloud data to source systemsMaintain, enhance and administer data loads from EBS and other sourcesTranslate business requirements into EPM technical solutionsTranslate business requirements into EPM technical solutionsGain and maintain knowledge of the business processes and objectives of stakeholder groups that are interconnected into the EPM applications.Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholder groupsCommunicate and collaborate with various internal teamsAbility to collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to evaluate and refine technical processes and business objectives, driving continuous improvementCombines strong business acumen with technical aptitude to translate business needs into effective solutions and outcomesLeadership SkillsThink strategically and make decisions with both immediate needs and long-term organizational goals and efficiencies in mindLead with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to consider diverse perspectives and innovative solutionsNavigate stressful situations with professionalism, composure, and respectSpecial projects may include high-level project planning, project management, data cleanup, and similar efforts.Preferred Qualifications3+ years of experience in a large organization serving in a finance/accounting/systems support roleBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business analytics, or applicable fieldStrong written and verbal communication skills are critical as this roleMust demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills Must be self-motivated, well organized, and able to work well independently on multiple priorities with conflicting deadlinesIdeal candidate is highly organized and detailed oriented, shows initiative and curiosity, questions the status. quo and is always seeking process improvement and efficiencies in EPM reportingDesire and willingness to dig into the details. Attention to details is critical to deliver accurate financial system reporting and supportAdvanced skills in Microsoft ExcelSelf-starter and curiosity to seek innovative solutions and implement process improvements using AI toolsOrganization of Data; Must be able to present financial systems data to finance and non-financial users in a succinct and easily understandable mannerKnowledge of master data hierarchies and currency translation is a plusExperience with Hyperion and/or EPM Cloud applications, Oracle’s E-Business Suite, Snowflake data platform, Co-pilot, and Alteryx, is a plusPotential to demonstrate the following leadership skills:Thinks strategically and makes decisions with both immediate needs and long-term organizational goals in mind.
