Job Description Job Description Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Truck & Fleet Repair Brockport, NY | $30–$35/hr+ DOE | Monday–Friday Days Looking for a solid shop where you can turn wrenches, stay busy, and work on a good mix of heavy-duty equipment? We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a busy truck repair operation in Brockport. You’ll work on dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles , handling everything from routine PMs and brakes to diagnostics and bumper-to-bumper repairs. The shop services its own fleet as well as outside customers, so there’s plenty of variety and steady work. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers Handle PMs, oil changes, brakes, adjustments, steering, suspension, and drivetrain repairs Troubleshoot mechanical and diesel systems Perform bumper-to-bumper repairs and preventative maintenance Complete accurate work orders and document repairs Keep trucks safe, road-ready, and in service Work toward obtaining a NYS Heavy Duty Inspection License if you don't already have one What We're Looking For Previous heavy-duty truck or diesel mechanic experience Strong mechanical and diesel troubleshooting skills Comfortable working on trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment Someone who can diagnose a problem, make the repair, and get the truck back on the road CDL and/or NYS Heavy Duty Inspection License is a plus, but not required What You Get $30–$35/hour to start , with flexibility for the right experience Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Overtime and occasional Saturdays available Health and dental insurance Paid vacation 401(k) with employer match Steady work with a long-established operation Variety of equipment instead of doing the same repair every day If you’re a diesel tech who knows your way around heavy trucks and wants steady work on the day shift, apply today. \nCompany Description Rockstar Recruiting is the most successful recruiting company in North America for Skilled Trades roles with a focus on Service Technician, Industrial Management, Sales, Mechanics, Auto Mechanics, Fire Protection, HVAC, Millwrights and Plumbing positions.
