Software Engineer (BBBH272421) – San Francisco, California Salary: USD 150,000 – USD 220,000 per annum + PTO + Benefits + Equity + Relocation Assistance Join a fast‑growing Series B AI startup building a powerful AI executive assistant. As part of a small, high‑caliber engineering team you will work on end‑to‑end features, collaborating closely with founders, PMs, and designers. The Role Build and ship complete features end‑to‑end—from clean, maintainable code to testing, rollout, and production monitoring. Collaborate with the founder, PMs, and designers to understand product requirements and navigate trade‑offs. Contribute across the full stack, with a lean toward backend and distributed systems. Integrate third‑party APIs and build internal tooling. Own features end‑to‑end—code, deployment, observability, and maintenance. Work in person 4 days a week from the San Francisco office. The Person 0–3 years of professional software engineering experience. Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, and React. Familiarity with distributed systems concepts—queuing, caching, retries, or reliability patterns. Exposure to real‑time systems or event‑driven architectures such as WebSockets. Experience integrating third‑party APIs. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with high ownership.
