Make an immediate impact in a school environment by supporting a preschool student in need of skilled nursing care. This full-time, contract position is located near Goodyear, AZ and offers a rewarding opportunity to work directly onsite, providing compassionate and diligent 1:1 support.

Your responsibilities will include assisting a preschool student who has a tracheostomy that may require management and aspiration. The student is not toilet trained, so a patient, caring approach and experience with similar caseloads is essential. Collaborate with school staff and support a safe, healthy environment conducive to learning and growth.

Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications:

• Active Arizona RN license
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Card
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Proven experience in school nursing or with comparable clinical caseloads
• Ability to perform aspirations and manage a trach in an educational setting
• Comfortable supporting students who are not toilet trained
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ready for an ASAP start

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive, 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student throughout the school day
• Manage trach care, including aspirations as necessary
• Support personal care and hygiene needs
• Communicate and coordinate with school team and parents/guardians
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with privacy regulations

Work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:13AM – 2:44PM, with every other Wednesday rota alternating as a half-day (7:15AM – 12:17PM). The contract extends through May 21, 2026, offering stable, on-site employment.
