Strategic Account Executive - Onshape

About PTC PTC is a global team of nearly 7,000, leading the way in cloud‑native 3D CAD & PDM solutions. Our Onshape platform is the fastest growing CAD platform, delivering innovation to the industrial and commercial products sector. Your Day‑to‑Day Achieve assigned revenue targets by selling PTC’s Onshape solutions and services to global leaders. Build executive relationships at target accounts to advance sales cycles. Provide sales strategy to cross‑functional resources (sales, presales specialists, product development, and global services). Drive and manage the entire sales cycle—from identifying business initiatives to building a value proposition, negotiating, and closing. Forecast and assess revenue opportunities. Investigate and understand internal business processes of potential clients. Responsibilities Rapidly learn the appropriate industries, Onshape solutions, and the benefits of the CAD/PDM cloud model. Understand the business impact of Onshape solutions and articulate this value to all organizational levels, from end‑user to executive. Use Salesforce.com for lead management, forecasting, and activity recording. Collaborate with internal and external resources to execute sales cycles. Manage the new business sales cycle from initial call through contract negotiation and execution. Work with an assigned Outbound Business Development Rep to identify target companies for new business sales cycles and support email and call campaigns. Meet quarterly sales quotas. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Self‑starter, results‑driven, motivated, creative, and resourceful. Consistent, successful enterprise application sales experience, preferably with cloud applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn technical product information and articulate its value and business impact. Ability to work cross‑functionally with other departments to deliver results on a customer’s behalf. Skills And Knowledge Most Helpful Knowledge in design engineering, new product development, and operational functions within innovative product companies. Team‑oriented and goals‑driven.
