Restoration Manager Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee (On-site) Openings: 2 (1 Mitigation, 1 Contents) Compensation: Up to $70,000 Base + 1% of Total Volume Incentive Target Earnings: ~$90,000 All-In (subject to minimums and performance thresholds) Reports To: Operations Manager Industry: Restoration Operations Availability: Immediate Start
Overview We are representing a restoration organization seeking two Restoration Managers one to directly lead Mitigation and the other to lead Contents production teams in the Chattanooga market. These are hands-on, on-site leadership roles responsible for managing crews, setting customer expectations, and ensuring work is executed efficiently and documented correctly. This role sits at the intersection of field execution, customer communication, estimating, and administrative coordination. The Restoration Manager is accountable for how jobs start, how they run, and how they close. When expectations are unclear, production slows, or job files fall apart—this role owns the correction. This position is not designed for entry-level technicians. The right candidate has already run jobs, dealt with customers, understands insurance-driven restoration work, and is comfortable being accountable for outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Directly manage mitigation or contents production crews in the field Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during active jobs Set clear expectations with customers from day one regarding scope, timeline, and process Prepare and review up-front estimates to support production and documentation Ensure crews complete work efficiently, safely, and to company standards Coordinate closely with Administration to ensure job files, documentation, photos, and estimates are complete Identify and resolve production issues before they escalate Maintain job momentum from start through close-out Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager on workload, challenges, and performance
What This Role Is — and Is Not This is a field-forward management role, not an estimating-only position This is not appropriate for junior techs without leadership experience This role requires customer-facing confidence and decision-making Success is measured by production efficiency, customer experience, and clean job files

Requirements Required Experience & Background Experience managing mitigation or contents work in a restoration environment Proven ability to lead production crews and hold performance standards Proficiency in Xactimate is required Strong understanding of job flow, documentation, and insurance-driven expectations Ability to communicate clearly with customers, crews, and administrative teams Consistent work history demonstrating reliability and accountability Prior estimating and customer-facing experience strongly preferred Benefits Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: Up to $70,000 Incentive Compensation: 1% of total production volume (subject to minimums) Target total compensation approximately $90,000 for strong performers Comprehensive benefits package including: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Company vehicle or allowance (as applicable) Gas and toll cards (as applicable) Company phone or allowance Full technology package
