Tile & Grout Restoration Technician

Turn worn-out tile and grout into surfaces people are proud of again

Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems, and seeing the results of your work at the end of the day?

At Sir Grout , we transform tired, stained, damaged, and outdated tile and grout surfaces into spaces that look clean, fresh, and renewed. We work in homes and businesses, using specialized tools, products, and restoration techniques to create dramatic before-and-after results.

This isn't just a cleaning job. It's a hands-on restoration trade

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Tile & Grout Restoration Technician to join our growing team.

What You'll Do

Every job is different, but your day will typically involve:

• Deep cleaning tile, grout, stone, and other hard surfaces using professional equipment and products
• Restoring discolored and deteriorated grout
• Applying grout color sealant to create a clean, uniform appearance and protect against staining
• Performing minor tile and grout repairs
• Inspecting surfaces and determining the appropriate restoration process
• Using specialized tools and equipment to transform surfaces
• Working directly with homeowners and business owners in a professional, courteous manner
• Explaining the work being performed and answering customer questions
• Protecting customers' homes and property while you work
• Maintaining and caring for your tools and equipment
• Completing jobs to Sir Grout's quality standards

This Isn't Just a Cleaning Job

There's a big difference between cleaning something and restoring it

Our technicians aren't simply wiping down tile. You're learning how to identify different types of surfaces, determine what is causing the problem, use specialized equipment and products, repair damaged areas, restore grout, and protect the finished surface.

And the best part?

You get to see the transformation

You might walk into a shower with years of buildup and discolored grout and leave it looking dramatically cleaner and renewed. You may take a worn floor that the customer thought needed to be replaced and restore it to a condition they're excited about.

The results are visible, and your work matters

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment and wants to develop skills in a specialized trade.

You May Be a Great Fit If You...

• Like working with your hands
• Take pride in doing things correctly-not just quickly
• Have a strong eye for detail
• Enjoy seeing a clear before-and-after result
• Are comfortable working in customers' homes and businesses
• Can work independently and stay productive throughout the day
• Are dependable and show up ready to work
• Communicate well with customers and coworkers
• Enjoy learning new techniques and skills
• Can troubleshoot problems and think through solutions
• Care about the quality of your work and the experience you provide customers

Experience

Tile and grout experience is a plus, but we're interested in more than just traditional tile technicians

Your previous experience in any of the following may translate well to this position:

• Tile installation or repair
• Flooring
• Construction or remodeling
• Painting
• Carpentry
• Handyman work
• Auto detailing
• Professional cleaning
• Restoration
• Pressure washing
• Other skilled trades or hands-on work

If you have good mechanical instincts, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, we can teach you our specialized restoration process

What We Offer

• Specialized training in tile and grout restoration
• The opportunity to learn a unique, in-demand skill set
• Hands-on work rather than sitting behind a desk
• A variety of job sites and customers
• The satisfaction of seeing the results of your work every day
• An opportunity to grow with a company that is expanding
• A professional team environment
• $22-$26/hour
• Bonuses and Commissions
• Paid Time Off

What a Typical Day Looks Like

You may start the morning loading your equipment and reviewing the day's jobs. Then you'll head to a customer's home or business, inspect the surfaces, discuss the work with the customer, and get to work.

You'll spend the day cleaning, repairing, restoring, sealing, and transforming tile and grout surfaces .

At the end of the job, you'll often have a very satisfying moment: looking at the finished surface and seeing just how different it looks from when you arrived

Then it's on to the next transformation.

Ready to Learn a Specialized Trade?

If you're dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work, we'd like to meet you.

You don't need to know everything about tile and grout on day one. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

Apply today and learn what it means to restore instead of replace

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
