Registered Nurse - Atrium Health Union Pediatric ED PT Days

Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Emergency Department Part‑time day shift (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) – 24 hours/week. Pay range: $38.20–$57.30 per hour. Location & Environment Atrium Health Union Levine Children’s Pediatric Emergency Department – the only pediatric ED in Union County, North Carolina. The department serves patients from birth to 18 years with emphasis on nursing ratios, teamwork, and high‑quality care. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. At least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new graduates. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the nurse practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire. One year of pediatric/ED experience.
