Role Overview As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to patients. You will support providers and nursing leadership by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience. Typical work hours for the department are 4 - 10-hour shifts. What You Will Do Greet and escort patients to the exam room. Obtain and record medical histories and vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Assist providers during examinations and procedures. Perform administrative tasks to support patient care. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description. Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation. Preferred Qualifications Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
