Customer Communications Specialist

About the Role

We’re looking for a personable and organized Customer Communications Specialist to manage day-to-day communication with customers and support a consistent, professional customer experience.

In this role, you’ll communicate with customers across phone, email, and in-person channels, providing accurate information, answering questions, coordinating follow-ups, and helping resolve routine requests. You’ll also maintain communication records and work with internal teams to make sure customers receive timely and consistent information.

Your Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions through phone, email, and in-person communication
• Provide accurate information regarding products, services, schedules, policies, and current offerings
• Manage routine customer requests and determine when additional assistance is needed
• Coordinate follow-up communication with customers
• Connect customers with the appropriate departments or team members
• Assist with scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and customer updates
• Prepare routine customer emails, notices, updates, and informational communications
• Maintain clear and professional communication across customer interactions
• Document customer inquiries, requests, feedback, and follow-up activity
• Update customer information and communication history within company systems
• Maintain organized contact lists and communication records
• Monitor open customer requests and ensure appropriate follow-through
• Communicate relevant updates and changes to customers
• Gather customer feedback and share recurring questions or concerns with the team
• Collaborate with customer service, operations, and other internal teams to support customer needs

Experience in customer communications, customer service, customer support, client services, administrative support, hospitality, retail, or another customer-facing environment is helpful but not required.
