Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00–15:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients within an acute care operating room setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes throughout all phases of surgical care
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical assessments using Epic electronic health records
• Float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as operationally required
• Participate in holiday coverage, with availability to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• BLS and all applicable certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify at standard contract terms
• Willingness to float to sister facilities nearby as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in an acute care operating room environment
• Familiarity with scrub and circulator roles within a surgical setting
