EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN (.6FTE)

Ada, Fosston, and Graceville, MN

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• We are seeking a physician for 1 shift a week rotating through the different locations
• 24-hour shifts during the week or weekend
• Average volume of 2-4 patients per shift
• Collegial team-oriented department
• EPIC DAX ambient voice for clinical documentation
• Essentia Health – Ada, Graceville, and Fosston hospitals are all Level IV Trauma Centers and designated as Critical Access Hospitals
• Essentia Health – Ada has 14-beds, Essentia Health - Fosston has 25-beds, and Essentia Health - Holy Trinity Hospital in Graceville has 15-beds.
• Essentia Health is a Physician led organization

REQUIREMENTS

• BC/BE Emergency Medicine or BC/BE Family Medicine with experience (or additional training in EM)
• ACLS, ATLS/CALS, PALS Certification

LOCATION

• Ada is located in northwestern Minnesota, in the heart of the Red River Valley- one of the most productive farming regions in the world. Ada is 45 minutes from Fargo, ND and roughly 240 miles NW of Minneapolis, MN. Ada population is 1,740
• Graceville is located at the northeast edge of Toqua Lake in the midst of prairie land and wetlands. Camping, golf, and outdoor activities are some of the recreational opportunities offered in the area. Population is 529.
• Fosston is listed as a Minnesota Star City and All-American City; 28 lakes are all within an hour or less drive of the town along with it being the gateway where the "prairie meets the pines". Population 1,400.

COMPENSATION

• $182.78 BC/BE Family Medicine trained with EM experience or $255.08 BC/BE Emergency Medicine trained
