About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 18 months of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred. First-timers accepted. License: Current nursing licensure required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are required at the time of application. NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to starting. Must-Have: Experience in Electrophysiology and Vascular preferred. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. All candidates must be nicotine-free, with no exceptions. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role requires expertise in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. Candidates should have experience in monitoring procedural sedation and the interpretation of dysrhythmias. The clinician may need to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Participation in on-call duties is expected, with approximately nine shifts in a five-week period. Clinical tracks include Cath Lab RN Track. Candidates should be aware of time-sensitive modules that need prioritization upon confirmation. Negative drug screening, including nicotine, is mandatory. The facility operates a smoke-free environment and has a strict no-call-in policy. Candidates are required to present two references from direct supervisors or managers. Travel nurses who complete a minimum of one year on continuous contracts may be required to complete an annual hands-on competency.
