About the Position

Job Title: EP/Cath Lab RN Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, EKG training Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for this role. Description: Must be able and willing to scrub. The unit includes 2 Cath Labs and 1 EP Lab. Staffing consists of a combination of RN, RCIS, RT, CVT, 1 department assistant, 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, and 1 Manager. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 with 3 staff per room for all procedures except VT Ablation, which has 4 staff. Type of equipment includes GE and ESI. The documentation system used is Meditech and MacLab. Call requirements involve working four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Typical procedures performed include all types of pacemakers, ablations, Watchman procedures, and cryoablation. Successful candidates should possess the ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Dress code consists of facility-provided scrubs in designated colors.
